Hearing Aids & Assessment

How would I know if I'm experiencing hearing loss?
Chances are you’ll be the last to know. The people around you will notice it first.

Loss of hearing is called the ‘invisible disability’, but the effects of hearing loss is very visible!

Socially:
•  Require frequent repetition
•  Difficulty following conversation
•  People sound muffled or like they’re mumbling
•  Difficulty hearing in noisy situations

Emotionally:
•
Stressed out from straining to hear
•  Annoyed at other people, because you can’t hear or understand them
•  Feel embarrassed to meet new people
•  Withdraw from social situations

People who have difficulty hearing can experience such distorted and incomplete communication that it seriously impacts on their professional and personal lives.

Fortunately, the situation can be greatly improved for most people with hearing loss. Modern hearing aids are technologically advanced and can help reduce the communication problems of individuals with hearing loss.
